Bombarding them won't work Stewie. As you have said they don't give a toss what we think. They had a clear plan and are following it through to the letter.
I personally don't think they have the money or ambition to improve us much further and would be happy to see them move on if the right buyer came along. But I'm not going to stress myself out over it.

I've been going since the late 70s and after attending all the games at the OS with an open mind I can now confirm the whole thing is shit.

Come on stewie give credit where it's due. Karren Brady has sorted out our club's admin like you'd expect any secretary to do. So she's getting a bit uppity! Probably change of life an' all that women stuff....

Who says I haven't on match days ? I'm just not going along with all the bullshit on here. And I let the club know what I think regularly.
You've only got to look at the minutes of last night. Within the very first minute, Brady says we were able to break our transfer record because of the move. Really. Our 20 million signing? A whole handful more than we paid for carroll, in a summer when even Bournemouth spent nearly that on Jordan IBE. Didn't notice them or anyone else who spent more in a player moving stadiums to do it. Could it be, just maybe, that everyone had a load to spend because of the new TV deal? Her boss certainly seems to think so.
She's a despicable lying cunt who has been lying about everything since the day she arrived.
And for the record, we shouldn't be making the best of it. It's a shithole, vast areas still resemble a building site. With some investment it might become adequate. Most of it is basic stuff. Anyone who has had an thing less than 100% satisfaction should be bombarding them until they take their heads out of their arses and put right.

And I'd just like to add , Upton Park was a massive part of my teen / early adult life , holding some of my fondest memories but football , in general changed and will never be what it was . But times change . You either go with it or move on .

Let's get this right . When the Daves and Brady took over we were millions in debt . We were regularly fighting relegation with football so dire I stopped going . Yes , the football under Sam was just as dire but it steadied the ship and , I hate to say it , but I think last season was a one off and had we made it to the champions league we may have kicked on by getting better players . Unfortunately those players either chose to move to champions league sides or stayed where they were . We have to accept that it's almost impossible to gatecrash the top 5/6 without either massive investment or the lure of CL football . As I said , last season , IMHO , was a one off and this season may be what we have to face for years to come .... it's the " West Ham way " .

Why does any of that even matter. For better or worse we are in the new place now so why not just crack on and try and make the best of it.

It isn't progress. We've moved to a rented building site. There's absolutely nothing progressive about it. And we have gone backwards. The whole thing is utterly straightforward. You move when you're ready to move. When your level demands it. If you try to cut corners, take shirt cuts and artificially alter the reality of the situation, you fail. Never been any different in any walk of life.

I had my first "customer experience" at the weekend.
It was so strange and "different" that I didn't really want to post anything about it until a few days had elapsed.
I still don't feel that I can say how this will turn out, first impressions are not great.

Don’t think you can blame Brady, its just progress and the way the modern game is going, you either change and move forward or you go backwards, changes sometimes take a while to sink in and be accepted, wasn’t it the same when kit changes came in? Different variations on colours, then a standard home and away kit, now it’s a new kit every season!! All the sponsors appearing in the shirts etc, many also objected to that at first, now it’s the norm.
I think all clubs when they move stadium lose a bit of there identity and distance themselves from there history, Man City is maybe the most extreme example, and since there move from Maine road the only connection is the name only, its almost as if they are 2 different clubs, one died, the other got taken over with mega bucks and moved to a big new stadium, then got taken over again, distancing the club further from its origins.
Badges as well, when the Castle was added many didnt like it, now its gone.....................................!!!

From what I have seen these are some very rugged west ham fans- 10's of thousands of them that the west ham support what it is. There are also popcorn eating new age supporters. If the former are still there and the latter bring in the cash to take the club forward then it all seems fine to me. I love karren.

"What is our aim. Title contenders and CL qualifiers isn't it? Could we have done that at Upton Park with 35,000? Can you imagine regular CL games with the likes of Inter, Barca, Madrid, Bayern and clubs like that at Upton Park? I can't. But I can at the OS. And that's where the owners were looking to."
And herein lies the problem with apologists for this shambles. This entire section infers that success is directly related to the size of one's stadium. It's absolute, unadulterated codswallop. Success is built on far more than that.
And to counter it directly. Last season with our 35,000, we got close to champions league. This season I can 'imagine' playing Rotherham next season,so how's that working out for you?

Your comment on the sample size of the unhappy posters on here in comparison to attendees at the new stadium is quite ridiculous.

Irons, you're dead right in my book. As a proportion of fans who go to home games the numbers who post on here are a minority within a minority.

I'm sure most of you realise that us clowns voicing our opinion on here are just a tiny minority. Most supporters simply go to a game and get on with their lives without worrying about the issues listed below and on other posts.
There will be no revolution chaps you are just upsetting yourselves.

They don't want different fans they just want to fill the stadium. That is the objective of the owners. Some people seem to think that only five thousand Boleyn ground regulars have gone across to the OS and fifty two thousand new people have turned up.

I couldn't care less if a bunch of sanitised fans can no longer recall the old Arsenal badge since it has been changed. Our badge had been in place for generations and to have that changed by a business person that couldn't care less about our club is fucking disgusting. Some people will not simply get over it and too bloody right.
And adding London to the badge is embarrassing.
People will absolutely get used to it, just like new supporters of Wimbledon did when they moved to Milton Keynes but lots didn't and we all saw what happened there.
We had the opportunity to expand Upton Park and didn't take it because he owners saw a rent free athletics stadium and £££ signs and pushed on to make as much money as possible.
Title contenders? Are you joking? To do that we need 200/300M investment. Have you seen how much money our owners have spent this summer having claimed the biggest Sky payout in the history of the game? Title contenders as an ambition under this leadership is a ridiculous goal. We are not even top 8.
By the way, it stopped being your West Ham the moment they secured the move.
